This place is poorly run and unprofessional. I was employed from 1996-97. Rex hired me. Diane was the receptionist. Hilda later took her place. Gillian and Pietro were the district managers. John was an immediate supervisor. Pietro's wife Kim, would call from their home on Portabello, in Mesa, about 10 times a day. She was on disability, at 40 something, and appeared bored. John's appearance was disheveled, unkempt, and he brought all of his personal business into the workplace. I can tell you all about his gay lover, Bill, the flashy red car Bill bought for him, his opinion that size does not matter, he swam naked in his pool, he broke up with Bill, and other unsavory topics. John appeared to be the epitome of unprofessionalism. Gillian was an obese woman from England who would talk about how America was an awful place because our history started in 1492, and we just did not have culture or castles. She had no problem bad mouthing America in a room full of Americans. She seemed obnoxious and rude. The organization was disorganized, poorly run, and the supervisors were thrown to the wolves. The pay was low, the homes were filthy, and food budgets were penurious. Employees would get hired, start working, then suddenly vanish. We were later informed their fingerprint clearance did not pass. Some grievance or complaint was always made. It was a horrible place. Incident reports and unusual incident reports were common. There were many physical aggressions by clients. The day programs were ultra violent.
