  Room service and front desk we're very nice. Interior of hotel is well kept. Rooms are very clean and well maintained too. Recently remodeled I hear. Exterior of hotel is hard to spot from the street, signage is tough to find in daylight. Also directions to where valet is would help avoid driving around block needlessly. Nitpick but ventilation in elevators are subpar, very stuffy and hot every time.

  Came to Oakland for a quick getaway. This hotel was a perfect location for our trip... Close to the lake, restaurants, BEASTMODE store, clubs, etc. Rooms were nicely decorated and staff were friendly. Shout out to Eugene at the front desk! Be sure to eat at the Buttercup just a few blocks away. Would definitely stay again!

  My mother stayed here while visiting my son and I. The people who work here are great! The valet guys, the people at the front desk and just everyone. The front desk people knew our names, were sweet to my toddler, and went above and beyond to make my mom’s stay comfortable. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. My parents have booked another stay to visit for my son’s birthday. I look forward to visiting them and saying hi to everyone:)

  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... I stayed for 2 nights at the Courtyard Downtown Oakland and I cannot stop bragging about it. I came in the weekend just before Christmas for a family get together. We were put in a double-bed corner room on the second floor with 2 gigantic windows that outlined our view with nothing but the city and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. To crack open the windows and listen to the hustle and bustle of the city below was very relaxing for us (especially myself, since I cannot sleep without "noise" in the background). Front Desk staff were great at all times. They let me use the print center to print out my Associate Form when, through the chaos of getting kids packed up and on the road, I forgot to print at home. We were in and out at all hours of the day and even in the middle of the night, they were friendly and I felt safe knowing that they secured the premises at night. Housekeeping complied with my little extra requests without hesitation and the room was immaculate every single time after they cleaned, which made our stay even more relaxing. Valet was very friendly and positive. We enjoyed talking to them every time and they never gave us a problem when we lost our car receipts. This will always be our first choice hotel every time we visit in the area now. Thank you guys for the great experience.
