  I am a platinum elite Marriott member, I always have looked for Marriott on my trips first. Generally, my Marriott stays have been nothing short of amazing. However, this one was the worst of my stays. My job requires me to work in the hotel after hours so I rely on the hotel wifi fairly heavily. Upon arrival and getting into my room I noticed this specific hotel did not offer the advanced faster WiFi like all other Marriott hotels I have stayed in. Unfortunately this stay requires me to work extensively in the after hours. A speed test gave me .22mbps, which was not sufficient to what I needed to do. I am having to go to Starbucks to complete my work. I called the number and they were willing to put me in another courtyard further south, which was 45 minutes from where I am working this week. Along those lines, as going to bed, there were several bugs in my room. For those reasons I have to give this hotel a poor review.

  Friendly and very helpful. Very comfortable beds and cold rooms. Would stay again.

  Don't do business at this hotel or you might be asked to leave! While some hotels value their guests as 'once a guest, always a guest' apparently not this Marriott. As an independent Insurance agent I would stop by this Marriott about 2-3 times a week to conduct business or just to check email or make a few calls from my cell phone. In the past, I've had business lunches where we bought and paid for food and drinks there. So today, a very 'by the book' snooty looking blonde girl, 'Heather' I think was her name, approached me and asked if I was a guest. So, I answered 'no' and was honest about why I was there. While there was not one single person in the lobby or business center, she proceeded to let me know that their business center was for guest only and asked me to leave. Didn't ask me if ive been a guest before or any other questions or tried to put it in a nicer way... Although, I have stayed at Courtyard Marriott's before, I've never stayed at this particular location, nor do I ever plan to. I was considering renting one of their rooms for an upcoming business meeting because of their location, but will definitely look for a different hotel. Wow, is this how Marriott treats their business community?? For a hotel, that tries to cater to the business community definitely aren't doing a good job by Not practicing good business or smart business themselves...disappointingly incompetent.   We had a great experience at this hotel. We were in town for treatment at MD Anderson. This hotel was clean, close to hospital and everyone was very nice! Was one less thing to worry about during a crazy time .

  SHY was the bartender. Amazing service. Very knowledgeable about the menu and drink items. I have eaten here a few times but prefer to come when SHY is working. Food just seems to taste better for some reason like this turkey BLT I just ate. And her cocktails are fabulous. She focuses on multiple customers but makes you feel like you are the only one here.
