  I’ve stayed here most trips for the past year. The rooms are fine, bed is great. All and all just fine for what I need on my business trips. The food in the cafe downstairs is great too and I’ve sampled most of it at this point. What I can’t believe that no one is talking about is the smell in the lobby. It’s definitely something that has evolved over the past 4 months. It’s the oven they use to heat/cook the food in the cafe. It smells just like all the 7-11’s where I live. Something about those cookers, if one thing sorta burns in them the smell is horrendous. Some nights it actually repels my appetite. I am astounded at the people who can sit in the bar and have a drink with that smell. Generally it isn’t there in the morning but by the evening it is in full force. It fills the elevators but luckily does not make it up to the rooms. I don’t know how the staff puts up with it. How has no one else complained about this???

  Amazing! Located in the middle of downtown Charlotte where you can walk to everything. It has a pool, fitness center, bar, room service, hair dryer, amazing water pressure, & even has Starbucks coffee. The rooms are nice & clean too. One of my favorite places to stay!

  I travel about 40 weeks out of the year. Whenever I'm in Charlotte I typically stay here for several reasons. Its connected to a parking garage with an elevator to the hotel, wired Ethernet in most rooms (wired is always faster), Starbucks in the lobby, many restaurants deliver in the area, they are personable and remember my name when just randomly walking by. Also, you get 10 points per dollar spent vs 5 at residence inn. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is another Marriott (the AC hotel) is opening in June 2018 and looks to have the same benefits but it's BRAND NEW with vinyl flooring (I don't like carpet in hotels in general .. This Courtyard has carpet) Until then I plan to stay here.

  I visited this hotel to present to a customer and the staff was fantastic. Very accommodating and they went above and beyond for me. I cannot thank them enough. Based on how I was treated, and didn't even stay at the hotel, I would highly recommend this hotel. Not to mention it is located in the middle of uptown Charlotte and close to everything. Parking garage right next to the hotel is also a big plus.

  Very comfortable and convenient location. Centrally-located to downtown with easy access to entertainment, dining and cultural options. The room itself was very comfortable with good amenities. I slept well every night despite being any downtown area. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again.
