NOT PROFESSIONAL - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I thought working with Court Travel (Laura Cole) would alleviate the stress involved with planning my honeymoon. I engaged Laura to help plan our two week trip to India and the Maldives. From the start to finish Laura did not listen to the feedback we provided on our desired itinerary - I got the feeling she was planning what SHE imagined for her honeymoon, not mine. I told her on numerous occasions we wanted more outdoors / active activities to fill the days. She came back with itineraries packed with tours of religious monuments and culinary experiences...not what we asked for. To make matters worse, her first itinerary was ~$5,000 over our budget - she was very offensive in how she handled the entire situation stating "Court Travel is a luxury travel agency and can't accommodate travelers like you". (Keep in mind she also booked us at a ~$2,000 per night all-inclusive resort for 6 days in the Maldives...so her comment made zero sense). This was after we both agreed on the budget AND subsequently agreed to go over our allocated budget for the Maldives portion of the trip. The most unprofessional part of the entire experience was when I asked her to provide additional detail on how she was pricing our trip. I spent 15 minutes googling her flight pricing and hotel accommodations and found she was charging a surplus of multiple hundreds of dollars per flight / per night over what you could easily find online. When I asked her why she was extremely defensive and refused to send the breakout in pricing and again, reverted to "Court Travel doesn't cater to budget travelers" response. I felt I wasn't asking for much considering it was my money we were spending and she was obviously trying to take advantage of us. To end our experience with Court Travel (Laura Cole) in the worst way possible - they decided to 'disengage' us 21 days before our flight left for Mumbai (keep in mind my wife and I also were getting married during this time). She said they were refused to complete the booking our trip because our budget was unrealistic and there was no longer enough time left to book the rest of the trip. I suggested to Laura that she refund my booking fee of $200 as a 'gesture of good faith' considering the tough spot she put me in - she refused and frankly seemed shocked I would even think to ask. All in all, I ended up paying $200 for Court Travel (Laura Cole) to send me a bunch of itinerary suggestions I didn't like and to leave me high and dry 21 days before I took off for half way around the world. She made me feel very uncomfortable and was unprofessional throughout the entire experience. My suggestion - don't waste your money and time with Court Travel (Laura Cole). My wife and I ended up booking our own trip last minute for 60% of the cost and had a fantastic time. My only regret is ever engaging Court Travel (Laura Cole) in the first place.

Requires 200 dollars just to tell you the price of a short vacation. How am I to know if Iā€™m getting a good deal or not before Iā€™m in the hole 200 bucks?

TERRIBLE. I had the absolute WORST experience with Court Travel. My husband and I hired Laura to plan our honeymoon ā€“ first, Laura would not listen to our feedback on the trip itinerary ā€“ she kept planning the honeymoon SHE wanted to have, not what we wanted at all. Then Laura went WAY over our agreed upon budget. When we asked for a break out of price (so we could re-figure the activities/flights to fit our budget) Laura was extremely difficult to work with.. when she finally gave us prices, we looked up the flights and hotels and it turns out she was charging us 10x what they would cost if we went to the website and bought ourselves. In the end we did not book the majority of our honeymoon with Court Travels, but of course they kept all of our deposit. Horrible business - take this as your warning and go elsewhere!!!!
