  If you're a fan of rum, this is a must. I will say, however, if you are looking for a calm environment to sip on your drink with an improving book, you might want to hold off until you're in a party mood. This place is a time machine back into the 80s with their tunes selection and owns it. It's loud. It's friendly. It's a party.

  If you want to see how not to run a business and what horrible customer service looks like, come here. With clip on man buns, the staff was more interested in hitting on ugly girls in flannel, than taking our orders. For bad breeding, come dip your gene pool here.

  Cotton & Reed is the new favorite that I didn't know I needed until I walked in the door. The bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable about rum (ask them to show you the spice lab in the back) and all things distilling. The drinks are inventive, strong and presented beautifully. While this bar is right across the street from Union Market, it's (thankfully) very laid back and calm compared to it's neighbor.
