  Love the quirkiness of World Market. It has so much random stuff. My one critique is sometimes there is a lack of consistency in items. Like if you buy something once you might not see it there again.

  I had purchased some Chimes Ginger Chews during my visit to Anchorage in Feb and had not know where to buy them locally. I thought I would need to buy on-line but went ahead and checked the manufacturers local store locator in case. Fortunately Cost Plus World Market had what I was looking for - in several flavors I might add. :) Not the Peanut Butter I had previously, which is great because it was a chance to try something different. I got original and mango - ginger chews. Not bad at all!! :) While there we picked up a couple of other items. Not out out compulsion because we had just eaten and were not hungry at all, but because they appeared interesting.

  I had a very specific goal, to buy a birthday present for a loved one. It was to be delivered as soon as I left the store. The staff here was great. Once I figured out what I was looking for the staff leaped into action showing me a decent variety of choices for the item in question: a jewelry box. They even helped with the presentation of the gift, offering suggestions of bags, wrapping/ tissue paper, bows you name it. Since I had procrastinated to the last minute, still in my work closes and looking ragged and disheveled I had little expectation of anything approaching what I got, which was pure excellence. The lady at the checkout even temporarily closed her lane in order to help me pull everything together. Thanks to Cost Plus World Markets' staff the birthday was a hit! Thanks for everything guys!

  I love this place. It's a great place to shop for foods and ingredients from around the world. They have a great selection of furniture, housewares and kitchenware. You can just get lost in this store for hours, it's so much fun to shopp here! You must check it, like really if you haven't been here, you are truly missing out!

  This place is awesome if you've never been here you should definitely go. One of the things that I like about this place is the selection of unique items in merchandising all over inside the store. There's merchandise ranging from kids toys books Furniture food from all over the world dishware and also alcohol and wine choices. Prepare yourself to spend 30 minutes 45 minutes or more just looking at every little thing that there is inside of this awesome place. Then once you're finished shopping you can go take a walk around the area of Westport and grab a bite to eat somewhere.
