  Very wonderful experience. Our server was super. Home cooked food, like momma used to make. Even offer both kinds of Kool aid. Lol. Best fried chicken iv had. I can only imagine how packed they are on Sunday after church.

  My mate wanted some fried catfish and I wanted frog legs and found out this place has both! I'm South Carolina born and raised and I know good eats. The fried okra was perfect as was the cornbread! We loved the hushpuppies and the frog legs were divine. My mate inhaled his catfish fillet. He loved his macaroni and we both found the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream an absolute treasure. Of course, for me, any test of real soul food has to pass the collard green test to be true soul food. This place did not disappoint! The collard greens were so good I drowned the rest of my cornbread in the collard liquor and finished it off! Plus, who could resist the sweet tea in a Mason jar! Just like this small country gal used to have it! We are so full and happy as pigs in the sunshine now. My mate is already itching like I am to come back again! Good job!

  Good service. We came in for lunch. I had the catfish sandwich and collard greens and my kids split a burger and fries. Burger was good enough to split. Catfish and collards were breaded and cooked well but could have been seasoned a little more. I tried a bite of the burger and that was delicious. The sweet tea was so good. Definitely reminded me of home. I would stop by again if I was in the area but I did want a little more.

  It was nice to have some southern cooking while we are in Denver. We arrived at around 4pm. We were seated immediately. There was only 1 other couple there, so it wasn't crowded at all. Our server was very polite and our food was cooked fresh

  If you from the south and you are missing home then let me tell you what. You need to come here all right. Look I have been spending too much time in five points thinking I was going to find some kind of scene you know what I mean. So I came over here and Ms Patricia and Wayne were so nice and they set it up for me good I got the oxtail and rice special The price was right and the flavor was twice as nice. If I don't come back here once a week I'll be coming back here twice a week. If you miss Houston very much these people from Alabama but you'll feel right at home. I already love it here and they said they used to do live music before covid so maybe they'll bring that back it would be great. The dining room is big and nice and clean All the customers are really cool I just you know just so many award-winning reviews all over the walls like what more do you want You know what I'm saying just come on down come on down y'all
