  I will not stay anywhere else when I travel to Anchorage...the homey feeling, the friendly and down-to-earth staff, the view of the ocean and sound of seagulls and sandhill cranes from my window, the accessibility to the Coastal Trail and all things downtown...seriously, can't beat this! And don't expect it to be a hotel with unused shampoos and conditioners - that adds to the at-home feeling! If that bugs you, bring your own! The breakfasts were lovely and fresh, the staff treated you like family, I just can't say enough good about this place...thank you!

  This place is very nice. Great views of the Cook Inlet.

  This place is cute, quiet, and cozy. The staff running the place were accommodating and polite. The only issue I had with my stay was the lack of coffee in the 2nd houses common room, I also would recommend providing unused amenities to the guest. Sanitary reasons.... Other than that it was a great stay!

  Nice rooms in an old house. The staff isn't there after 5 or 6 pm and I needed something after hours so I called their contact number but nobody ever got back with me. We asked if we could come back in the evening after we checked out to change or clothes. They said just keep the key until we get back since no-one was going to use the room the next night. That was really nice.

  The Copper Whale Inn, is personable and accommodating. The staff was helpful and made my stay pleasant. I would definitely stay there again.
