::My wife and I went there to apply for our Temporary Resident Visas. She went alone the first time to make an appointment since we could not get through on the telephone. Her visit was pleasant and an appt was made. We gathered all that we thought we needed. We showed up for our appointment. Everyone there was very helpful and pleasant. We did not have all that we needed, so we made a second appointment. We gathered the additional information and reported at our second appointment time. The young man that helped us was awesome, piloted, and very informative. Half an hour to review our materials. Waited another 15 minutes for him to put us in the system. Another 15 minutes for picture, fingerprints and interview. And we were approved. Told to come by the next day to get the TRV. We could not have been more pleased with the service and the cordiality we received. Yes, $10 to park in an office parking lot seems high. We came in two cars so one car was parked at the Jack in the Box at mockingbird and stemmons. However one day I had to walk back to my car. Not a bad walk. Unless the weather is bad.

::It's crazy that we have to pay for parking! Like really that's stupid and they NEVER ANSWER THERE DAM PHONE WITH all the money they make they need to hire a resepition there!

::Hi everyone I donk know if I'm at the right place .. Sime dude who supposedly is an agent at the consulate here in Dallas but leaves in Mexico . Go figure ... He is threatnig my sister that if she don't give money he is gonna report her and upload some pics he has of her. . Could someone please tell me where I can make a report .. Of His FB profile for impersonating someone . I know that's federal I have pics of him messages and everything. . Just need someone to put me on the right direction

::No one answers the phones! I called for a week. I needed a permit to drive my car into Mexico (past the allowed limit) The auto message for English says "No appointment needed" I drove down there 40+min. Paid $10 parking for the security at the door (behind the front of building) to tell me, I could not even enter without an appointment. No avail. appointment till the following week. Now I have to do it at the border. I advice call couple weeks ahead. You have to call (011-52) 55 96898006 for apmt.

::To all of those writing a negative review, I do not share the same experience. I was surprised on how fast the service went. I got there at 7:15am and I was out by 7:50am with my passport, Matricula and Voters id card. I was ready with my cellphone and headphones fully charged and ready to spend a minimum of 2 hours but i did not even had a chance to watch a Youtube clip, that's how fast the process went. On the parking fee: there is a big sign on the main desk that says that the Consulate does not own the parking lot and they are not the ones charging the fee. Before posting a bad review get the facts straight. Anyways! now with the new process you do not have to spend time filling the forms or take your own pictures they do everything by computer. If you do not want a bad experience please take all the documents that you need for your process. The staff is very courteous and polite not to mention the beautiful lady that collected my fee.
