  Everyone at this location was and IS helpful. I do realize some people gave this location bad review, now you have to experience for yourself. I will say they were very patient with my family and I. The amount of mistakes my kids(& I) did with signing we had to do over papers. This is no mistake of their's but mine. We should of been out of there the time we arrive (@9) but ending up being the last to leave. They worked with us and it got done. We as Trinibogoian needs to stop being so impatient yes we want things done fast but fast is not always healthy. Nothing happens fast, if it do it won't last or makes you sick. Just have patience and see it through. Oh, one more thing if you have a family that is bigger than 5 please do applications at home before coming. This took up most of the time. As well if your young kids(under 9 )could sign, teach them at home to sign in a rectangular box before they officially sign. Again my wonderful/beautiful countrymen have patience with yourself and others on the opposite side(behind the counter). We have to support our country and it's people not destroy them so the world could see. Together We Aspire and Together We WILL Achieve. We as people forget our motto, let it be US Trinidad and Tobago(ian). To get a live person, I press the one that say something about children and old people. Well I kept on pressing each prompt. Don't give up.9

  Been trying to call here over a week I swear I called over 20 times and noone answers the f##*ing phone what are they being paid for? And the websites down go figure 👹

  Backward and insular This place does not deserve even one star! All these people that coming on here giving 5 star reviews need to stop their damn lies! Imagine you have a Trinidad Consulate in New York that don't even open 8 hours a day! Not even 8 hours! Think about it! So what happen when they take lunch? Then they're only working 6 hours right? And when you walk in people moseying along like they don't have a care in the world. But the one by the desk have time to call over to the booth to bad talk customers who coming in and giving she trouble. From the minute you walk in - is the nasty woman by the desk looking for an excuse to send you away. This missing, that missing you can't come in here with that! People coming in from New Jersey, Upstate - you sending people away instead of trying to resolve the issue right then and there so these people could get their business fix and go home. Ever wonder why they have that sign up saying they don't tolerate cuss up? Cause they know they doing thing to deserve it. Imagine you denying people a Trinidad passport because they don't have a US certificate of naturalization. People who born and grow up in Trinidad! You telling your own citizens they can't get a passport unless they prove they are US citizens! When this whole MRP nonsense start people was waiting a whole year for appointments. But descendants of Trinidad nationals getting a Trinidad passport based on their parents expired passport. What garbage I hearing? So what is the purpose of a Trinidad birth certificate then? Nothing, apparently. They have the place fix up real nice but nobody can't get their business done than the security feel Trinidad nationals want to storm in - a place that by rights should be our safe haven! A shame and disgrace. If you don't know somebody in there - or you don't ma-ma-guy somebody, you not getting nothing done. You have to run to the post office to swear affidavit that Sylvia Brown and Brown, Sylvia is the same people because the donkey watching the birth certificate saying Sylvia Brown swear up and down that is not the same person. That is keeping in mind that they have someone right on the premises who does swear affidavit. But no, go by the post office and do it. They say that they change up the system for the better, but I remember when you used to get up early and stand on line and you used to get your passport done in the same day. Minus all the garbage and red tape. Bring their nasty attitude right here to New York and they wondering why they have 2 star ratings on Google? They have a right to have no stars!

  Kudos to Ms. Ramnath and the Security officer by the.metal detector on the.floor. they were both helpful and efficient and got ms out of there in a timely fashion.

  In and out quickly, professional staff from the guy by the metal dector to the young man whom help get my passport. very polite. Something has to be done about the phones.
