Worst place! They don’t answer your calls. And if they do answer your call pray that they don’t leave on hold and never answer back. They are rude, worst customer service ever! I have been calling for 30 minutes non stop and no one answer. Then finally someone did and as I’m explaining my situation that I need my passport ASAP due to a family emergency she leaves on hold and never got to me back.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Poor customer service specifically with communication. I called the consulate regarding a question about traveling to and from Panamá as a permanent resident (calling for a relative), the lady who took my call interrupted me in mid sentence throughout the entire call. In addition, while we were conversing, it seemed that she cover the receiver and yelled "OYE, DILE QUE TOY EN UNA LLAMADA". She thought she could answer my questions without listening to them completely. I found that to be rude and disrespectful. Who hire these people? There's no need to have a RACATACA attitude here or anywhere. Unbelievable. I suppose that I can laugh about it now. Moral of this experience, is that you can take a racataca out of Panamá, but you can't take out the racataca out of someone who is racataca.

Call early when it opens. I got my passport process very fast by mail.

Good luck. This consulate is getting paid by the Panamanian government for not doing their job, you call and nobody picks up the phone, the phone doesn't even give you the option to leave a message. A total disaster

I have had the pleasure of working with Lic. Raquel and Maria Ramona for the last year. They continually provided prompt service and I am honored to have worked with such great women representing the country of Panama.
