::I cannot say enough about this place and these people. I moved to CT from Chicago two years ago and shopped yoga studios for a year before finding CT Power Yoga. THANK GOD I wandered into that little studio on Summer Street. Tim and Aimee (the owners and two of the badass teachers) have fostered the most amazing community of teachers, students, trainees, and people. I keep coming back again and again because I know that I'm going to get a hot, sweaty yoga practice AND I am going to do it alongside friends and people who share the same commitment to the practice as me. The yoga that happens within this studio is powerful, inspiring, and forces me to get out of my head and into my body on the mat. I have never felt more confident or strong. If you are new to yoga or new to the area, this place offers the best of all worlds. Even though I live far from my family, I feel at home as a part of this community. I encourage anyone interested in trying yoga or in a yoga rut to check them out!

::Come for the yoga. Stay for the community. Connecticut Power Yoga will get you sweaty. Like... REALLY sweaty. In a room full of your new best friends. The workout is intense, but playful, and goes beyond your body... expect to challenge your mind, your heart, and your willpower. In the best way possible. Aimee’s class is challenging and she has a unique way of keeping it upbeat while your brain and thighs are screaming NOOOOOO! The endorphin high is NOT to be missed. Tim’s playful class remains true to the Baptiste method while finding innovative ways to show you that you actually CAN do all the things you swore you couldn’t do... and have fun while doing it! I could go on about each instructor as well as the amazing talent brought in for community classes on the weekend, but take my word and SHOW UP and be a YES! (Thank me later!)

::One of the best yoga studios I have ever practiced at. What stands out are the highly skilled, positive, enthusiatic teachers and the incredible sense of community the studio has managed to foster. I truly feel like I come in to do yoga with a group of my friends every night. Would highly recommend trying this studio for an incredible workout and a great place to meet new people.

::I've always loved yoga and taken classes at local gyms or studios whenever I could, but I've never experienced anything like CT Power Yoga. With just doing power yoga in a few months, my body has made a significant transformation. I feel physically AND mentally strong. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel at home. I also took their 200 hour teacher training, which was very well organized and transformational. CT Power Yoga is a supportive community and has something for everyone!!!

::Connecticut Power Yoga is hands down one of the best studios I have ever been to. I have tried a few other yoga places in the area and I can say without question that this is the best studio around. Aimee, Tim and the rest of their amazing team are so genuinely passionate about Baptiste Power Yoga and sharing their energy, positivity and practice with each yogi that walks through the door. Believe me, you will walk out of each class not only feeling refreshed and exercised but with a more positive outlook on life in general. I highly recommend trying this place out! All levels of yogi are welcome! :)
