Very unprofessional school they say they will help you and they don't. They choose to withdraw you for reasons such as an instructor not liking you. It's a fun school but they honestly don't care about you staying in school they will withdraw you even if you've put your all into it. They make it seem as if they i my want to keep your money because they still want you paying more than you even should if they kick you out! If I could rate it 0 starts that would be great

If I could give this a 0 I would. I was excited to get started in the surgical technologist program. Since I already went to school for CNA and was ready to take on some more schooling. Only to find out Scott was discouraging as can be. He tried his hardest to persuade me to become a “MA” when he knew I wasn’t here for that. He was surprised when passed my tests. But continued to be very discouraging, knowing I’ve already dealt with medical school, work and mother hood at once. He said “it would be too hard for me” that I should be a MA because it’s “cheaper” then switched to him wanting me to be a nurse when that is more expensive then surgical technologist. He handed me brochures of MA&nursing, it was the biggest headache listening to him doubt my capabilities. I told him I wasn’t worried about the money. When you go and look into a school, you’re suppose to feel encouraged and support. But I didn’t sadly. Don’t waist your money here. There’s better schools. With better staff.

I did love Concorde. I met a lot of amazing people and my first teacher was lovely (I think her name was Mrs.Woods). I was pregnant going into the program and had figured out how i was going to finish school being pregnant.I was very excited! I love teeth! I spent about 2.5 months in the dental program and unfortunately found out that my baby was not going to make it so i had to take a week off of school and eventually had to leave because i physically and mentally could not complete school with the loss of my babe. When i told Concorde i wouldn't be back after completing about 2.5 months of school they told me i would have to pay the whole tuition. They knew why i was leaving and i totally understand i signed a contract but, it would have been nice of them to discount my dental school tuition since they knew i wasn't returning and the reason behind it. They have full on asked me for money out of my tax returns and have taken double payments without telling me which wasn't good. I would have been fine with that if they had just let me know they were doing it. So next month i fully paid off my tuition for nothing. They got about 7 months of free money. It sucks man. sucks! I really wish i could be a dental assistant but, id have to pay another tuition and pay for a tutor :(

If I could give zero I would. I attended the surgical technology program, do not waste your time here GO TO MT HOOD!!!!!! I have been told mt hoods ST students are stronger and learn more in the program, as well SAVE thousands of freaking dollars. There are good people at this school, but it seems like from the rest of the reviews on here the ST program isn't the only mess. I'm not the only student who has had programs within the ST department. Do not take the fast certification route, you learn way less and they do not teach you everything you need to learn to be a successful surgical technologist. Out of the thousands of surgical instrument/pans we have to know, they only teach you one small pan, they use the same surgery for every test/lab which is an open appendectomy with only one day of laparoscopic, they use the same surgical style drape, and as a whole the department is very unprofessional. Teachers talking about politics, religion, and not upholding themselves to same standards as students, in the last two years they have had five teachers leave in the department. All I can say is STAY A W A Y

Great experience. Good education great staff. Everything is very well done. I was offered a job before I even graduated. Would have given 5 stars but it's also spendy.
