  I spent a week at Como Lake B&B. Best bed I've ever slept in. Whilst Carla was not in the least intrusive, I felt we became friends during my stay. She is a special lady.

  My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful one-night stay at this B&B. The location is great - on the residential side but not too far from the offerings of downtown St. Paul. It is an ideal location. Close enough to everything you might want to do, yet nice and quiet if that's what you'd prefer while sitting on the porch and looking at the Como Lake. Carla was a warm, welcoming and wonderful host for our stay. It is a beautiful home with a great feel - providing for all of the accommodations one might want or wish for in a B&B stay experience. We hope to return soon for another get-away.

  Carla is wonderful, the home is full of beautiful craftsmanship and warmth. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Carla’s adorable pup makes you feel welcome too! We will absolutely stay here for our next adventure to St. Paul!

  What an awesome place Carla has created with a great view & within a few hundred feet of Como Lake! We stayed in late November so the weather can be a bit chilly but taking a walk around the lake & over to the local bistro for a hot cup of chocolate quickly warmed us up (BTW there's lots of walking/biking paths, a park, a golf course, a great free zoo & even kiddie rides all within a short walk distance). Carla has refurbished the entire house & we had the entire upper floor to ourselves. We enjoyed a fireplace, hot tub, lounging room, lots of day & night skylight views & a super comfortable king size bed with lots of privacy - couldn't have asked for a better stay. And at breakfast we had lots of great conversation with the Carla & the other guests. Check it out if you get a chance - you won't be disappointed.

  Although I have family in the area, I decided to stay at a bed and breakfast, and I'm so glad I chose Como Lake! I loved the garden around the house and the warm, comfortable furnishings of the house. Carla has clearly spent a lot of time and energy making her house a respite from the modern world. And the breakfasts were filling and delicious! Carla, and her dog, Lenny, were charming and friendly hosts. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
