It makes me really sad to write this review because I'm sure for the most part this is a great location but my experience at Anime Boston was pretty upsetting. There was a kind of star shaped sign that advertised 7 of Junji Itos books for $110 and after some thought decided I wanted to take advantage. I took the books up to the female cashier where she told me my total 137 dollars. I informed her that there was a sign advertising the lower rate and she replied very flatly that it was wrong and then while i was deciding if I wanted to spend the extra money in front of the other 6 people behind me in line said pretty rudely "So what do you want to do?" I just ended up buying 4 of the 7 books for about a $100 even. This wouldn't bother me as much if I didn't end up finding ALL of those books online for far less money. This is how this business values a customer willing to spend more than $100 on manga at a time? At this point i would rather just return the books and buy them from someone else but lord knows you wouldn't honor that. I'm sure you guys will do fine without me but you lost my future business for sure.

Comicopia is great! The staff are always friendly and helpful, willing to work with you to find in-stock products or ones available from their distributors. The selection is great, with trades, single issues, back issues, and plenty of manga. Recommended for locals and visitors to Boston.

This place a is a little small but it is packed with great stuff. If you're a serious collector it is tough to do any better.
