  My husband and I visited Kansas city during the last week of March. This place is very near to downtown. The hotel room was in good condition and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. At the same time we were celebrating my husbands birthday and few days before our reservation I called the reception to check if they can help me in decorating the room. It took a few calls as their manager was out of town but at the end they helped me and I am very grateful to them. The only downside we faced because of the construction that was going on around the hotel. Because of that we had to take different routes to reach at the location as Google wasn't aware of construction.

  This place worked great for my trip to KC. It's really close to some of the cool neighborhoods but it's still affordable. The location is a little separated from the rest of the neighborhood so it's not exactly walkable but it's a short uber ride. The parking lot can fill up but there is a secure lot across the street. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels AND the shower head was tall enough for me (6 feet) which is sometimes hard to find in hotels. This place is a great value.

  The staff are courteous and friendly with good suggestions for out-of-towners. The place is clean and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. More parking would be helpful. The breakfast looked great, like they went the extra mile with it, although we did not eat it.

  Cheer group stayed at hotel. The hotel manager was great working with parents who were changing how many nights they were staying. Changed from 3 nights to 2 nights. Staff was friendly. Couple of issues were the TV didn't work in one room & one room has bed bugs. Discount was offered ($15). The staff working the breakfast area was amazing.

  We have stayed in this hotel repeatedly as my daughter often has dance workshops at the convention center. It's less than a 5 minute drive to anything downtown. It is clean, quiet, the morning breakfast is FABULOUS and the staff are courteous and helpful, always. The beds are SO comfortable, the rooms are spotless and it seems to be a very family-friendly place. Breakfast is always hot and fresh with attendants keeping everything clean. Eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, a variety of cereals, fruits, yogurts, pastries, oatmeal, etc. You won't find a better deal with nicer accommodations this close to central Kansas City
