::They are reliable and do the work as prescribed. They are only a store front and farm the work out so there is nothing exceptional or special. The clock is the clock even if you are there at 8:55 with 8 pieces. You'll get pushed out an extra day.

::Comet Cleaners on SW Green Oaks definitely has friendly staff and on-time service. I used Comet for years, having them clean my dress shirts, pants, and military uniforms. Over the years, several buttons were broken by Comet on my military BDUs, but I ended up sewing on new buttons. The shirt pressing was decent, and they always listened to how much starch I asked for. Recently, a new dark-colored dress shirt came back with an even darker stain that was not there when I dropped it off at Comet. I didn’t notice until I tried to put it on before work. That was the final incident that made me go some place else. I hate feeling like it is a gamble every time you take clothes to the dry cleaners. Are you going to be lucky and get them back in good shape, or will they be damaged? To be fair, no dry cleaner can promise perfect cleaning 100% of the time, we are all human. However, I am currently trying to find a dry cleaner that washes, dry cleans, and presses as well as Comet, but with more consistency in returning clothes in the same (and of course cleaner) condition than when they were left.
