  This local establishment has been around since the fifties, and it has lost none of its charm. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is superb. The service can sometimes be a bit slow, but that's only because it is so popular, and is often full of happy customers. The one thing every patron here needs to know, however, is that they only accept cash. That caught me off guard the first time I went, and that might be enough for me to rate four stars, but the food is just that good. If you're just in town for a visit, make sure you stop here at least once.

  If you’re hungry for breakfast their food is delicious. They have great hash browns! Most of the time I have to take home leftovers. Prices are reasonable and good service.

  I love their scramble eggs. Best in the world. Have been going there for 44 years. Food is just really delicious. Staff is the best

  Excellent service, you will have a tough time finishing your cup of coffee, as it will be refilled by your server before you get a chance. I have always had an excellent breakfast here at a good price no matter what I have ordered. The afternoon turkey and gravy dinner is also fantastic. Easily enough for 2 meals. The Coffee Cup is a St. Paul classic!!!

  Massive... comically giant portions. 1 meal can be split between 3-4 people. It was unfortunately quantity over quality. Their pancakes (only get 1 due to size) were great but they don't have real maple syrup.
