Good coffee, nice full menu, and yummy smoothies. I had the black bean wrap, it was flavorful but a bit small. Coffee was good, nice and strong. And the spinach soy milk smoothie was delicious, but just a bit too sweet. No complaints though, would return!

The wait was not so bad for a not so busy day 10am.... I ordered the chocolate banana pancakes (two pancakes topped with chocolate chip and bananas) from other photos I saw this was simple nothing fancy(sad). Syrup was giving in a small little plastic on the go container as well as plastic forks and knife which I felt weren't strong enough! I also order the banana filled chocolate french toast. Soft and moist ....sweet looked better then the pancakes but we'll tasting. Turkey bacon and eggs were good but are a separate order and do not come with the meal. All in all I spent 33 dollars and left feeling satisfied but not blown away. I would come back but wouldn't bragg about it. Regular run of the mill spot. Order in front and food comes to you.

I really like the food at Cocoa Grinder. However, when I visited on a Tuesday morning, I noticed there was just one person cooking everything. I had been waiting about 15 minutes after my order. The cook looked very put out / stressed when I asked if the dish that I saw was ready was in fact mine (as he walked by). He showed me the receipt of my order and asked if it was mine. I apologized for interrupting him and for potentially stressing him out and confirmed it was mine. He continued to look put out and silently made my dish (along with a few others simultaneously). I understand that cooking under pressure for a lot of people is stressful. What seems to be an under-staffing / training issue could be easily remedied.

The staff is always friendly, but the food and coffee was horrible. I ordered an iced mocha, but all I got was an iced coffee. Upon asking for it to be remade, they pumped chocolate syrup into it disregarding the fact that it obviously would not blend well into a cold drink which was also not using espresso. My burger wasn't able to fit even half the bun after I cut the bun in half. Since I had already waited 40 minutes, I decided to just eat it and leave. I posted a before and after I cut the bun to fit the miniature slider that they provided me in place of the burger that I paid a pretty penny for.

Great neighborhood eatery for coffee, juice, and a variety of food! I come here with my girlfriends every weekend after our yoga class and, so far, it has been consistently good. I always want to try something new, but I always end up ordering their Blackened Cajun Salmon Bowl, because it's so good! I usually get their Fat Burner juice, but I've also tried their Joint Helper Juice, and both are delicious and refreshing. Both are lightly sweetened, which is just the way I like it. My girlfriends like to get their coffees. One friend likes to get their breakfast sandwich of Eggs, Avocado, and Mozzarella, and my other girlfriend loves their Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Classic Brioche French Toast, but was not fond of their turkey burger, which she said was very dry and had the texture of cardboard. We both gobbled up the sweet potato fries on her plate, though. They were hot and crispy. Perfectly cooked! The decor is modern-industrial, with a bright and open layout. The walls are covered with varying types of reclaimed wood, and I love their living wall installments of real plants. It's a little tight getting around some of the tables when it's crowded, and the seating is not really made for comfort (strategic, I'm sure), but it's otherwise a great place to chill out and plug in your laptop, if you're so inclined, as they thoughtfully provided customers with many power outlets to plug in portable devices.
