  Plz read this carefully before going to on business at this place. online is shows transmission repair for $ 750. So I called . Mr. Campton says ok its going to be $ 850 I said its fine. Bring my car in and no wonder I was the only one to do business should have realized : ---( Mr. Campton checks my car and says He has to open the transmission to check what wrong he cant find any probs. so I have to leave my car and come back. Mr. Campton Made me sign the paper to work on the car. I get a call within 2 hours that this and this is defective and would cost me $ 3400 and Im like OMG really he said yes that how much its going to cost. I said well I dont have that much please close my car and I will pick it up and I get a reply to close the car it would cost $ 900. So they TRAPPED me very well. Left with no choice and KEEP IN MIND these auto repair shops have policy that if car is not picked up in 2 business days it would charge a GATE fee of $ 45 a day. So you can very well imagine what are you dealing with. Mr. Campton also suggested that He can give me a break if I dont ask for bill and paid in Cash. So tomorrow if some thing goes wrong in car repair Mr. Campton would be like I dont know who you are. will strongly suggest to read this before doing business with Gibraltar Queens BLVD.

  I am disappointed I didn't read the reviews about this place but then again MOST mechanics are SHADY BEINGS. I spent close to 3, 000 to get my transmission fixed and within 2 weeks of getting it back my car broke down again. I see complains about the staff but my experience was, they are a bunch of sweet talkers. Jacked up prices and then have the nerve to say oh, the cost was more but we will honor what we said before. .....Ummm yea, so you can't ask them to beat down. I don't plan on referring anyone here.

  Best place to take your car for any service, but I took my van in for a new transmission, not only was it a good price , but the job was done great. The guys who work there a very good mechanics, my car is running smooth . If I could give them 6 stars I would, thank you for all your help guys.

  i had to take my car here since it was the closest shop at the time... When I got there the person who spoke to me told me that the mechanic was going to have to check to see if the problem was the transmission or something different... It ended up being some issue with something in the transmission not familiar with the term since I have no clue how to change a tire myself... I decided to leave it there with them to fix it... After coming to an arrangement on the charge and payment I got my car one week after drove the car and seems to be good as new ... To me the people there were nice and respectful in contrast to some other reviews that I have read ... Hope that this helps someone

  This Gibraltar Transmission shop has provided excellence service for my car. I have not had any trouble since i took my car there and the workers had fixed it. Each of the workers were very polite and friendly. I also had gotten my car back within the days they told me and there was not a problem with over pricing. The prices were fair depending on what part of the car needed fixing. I would highly recommend going to this shop to get your car repaired.
