  Do yourself a BIG favor and stay away from these crooks!! Every single time I've gone in for something as simple as an oil change they find 2 or 3 things wrong with my car. There was one time I went in for an oil change then they told me I needed my engine cleaned, because the oil is black so I asked didn't I pay you guys last month to clean my engine???? Then he looks through the history and goes oh yeah never mind, but you need some tires. It's always something with these crooks!

  The mechanic Eric, along with everyone else here, is very helpful and honest. I live in Suffolk and drive 37 minutes to bring my car to this shop. I can rely on them to not give me a run around and give me the truth. On top of all the business I have gone to them before I recently had a Catalytic converter job on my '05 Subaru Forester. They did the work very speedy and kept me updated. They informed me that work I had done at my Subaru dealer may have had a malfunction in a part. Instead of doing the work they saved me money by telling me to go back and get what I paid for. On top of that my check engine light went on due to cylinder 1 and they worked (for free) for at least 5 hours to remedy the problem. My car is in good working condition now and I wouldn't trust me car with anyone else but Eric and his team. I chose them over the Subaru dealer not just for work done but for customer service as well.

  Not an overall good experience. First of all I went there to have my car inspected. The employee told me it may take half an hour. They took my car and reported back to me that I have to change the brakes otherwise they are not going to do inspection. Agreed with them for brakes fixed cause didn't want to get another ticket for expired inspection certificate. Well, it took another hour and half to fix brakes and inspection. In the middle, when they were receiving payment from another customer, I noticed that their credit card machine is not working. Why I am not surprised!! Total payoff amount thet charged my 140 for front brakes only plus 37 for inspection. including taxes they charged my ari und 200. I asked them if I have to pay cash then why they are charging me taxes. the answer surprised me. the reply I get quoted "this is america, you have to pay tax if you are living this country, we are only collecting taxes". At this point I lost my desire to argue with such unprofessional. I will not even recommend my enemies to go there. by the way, after questioning they charged me cash payment of 190 out of 200. I don't mind paying 200 for valid reason but a little professionalism must ensue. they did not had any sign that said that their credit card machine is not working. it was first and last job with them. Thanks.
