Engaging and beautiful selection of books. Quiet and warm. Delicious French pastries.

Nice book store, 3 whole bookcases of books on cooking which is why I stopped, meaning alot of books on cooking. I'll be back. Coffeeshop must have been good because alot of people were stopping by to get some.

Great place to have some coffee and get some great books. As other reviewers have said, it is fairly small but the taste of the buyers is incredible. I focused mostly on graphic novels (artistic ones like those published by Fantagraphic and Drawn and Quarterly) and poetry. They also seemed to have lots of high quality non-fiction, less common for small indie bookshops.

I'm a big fan of this little bookstore. It does have a relatively small selection, but the buyers have excellent taste. There is an extensive collection of art and architecture books and periodicals, most of which are concentrated in the cafe area. The coffee is excellent--perhaps my favorite in town, and the overall "vibe" of the store and cafe is calm and friendly. The staff are warm and helpful and it's just a nice place to spend a little downtime. The location is also ideal, especially since it is across the street from one of Denver's major art galleries. FYI, they also sell a lot of Out of Print brand shirts, scarves, etc. You can get a wardrobe, a reading list, and a caffeine buzz here...

An absolutely great experience. Warmly greeted immediately by the gentleman behind the counter. He had what I was looking for. I then wandered and discovered so many great books. I am looking forward to coming back to enjoy a coffee at one of his cozy tables inside and on the sidewalk.
