  I saw Shayna and JoAnn in 2014 for a shoulder/neck injury and then Dan this past winter for a similar injury. As a recreational athlete who has been in and out of physical therapy throughout my adult life, I can honestly say that Dan and his colleagues are the best! I have never seen better results, nor had more fun while attending therapy than I have at City Physical Therapy. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

  I went to Dan at City PT for lower back pain from a herniated disc. I was initially reluctant due to a very bad prior experience at another PT practice but since Dan was highly recommended by my attending physician, I decided to give it try and I'm glad that I did. Within the first 10 minutes of treatment from Dan, my back gained greater flexibility and range of motion. It felt like 10Lbs of weight was left off my back. Dan was very careful in treating my condition, he listed to my cue and adjusted his treatments based on how I felt at each visit. I was also given an exercise routine that were very effective in releasing pain without adding stress to my back. All staff at City PT were warm, upbeat and professional. I would highly recommend City PT and Dan.

  I went to Dan after my surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon. Dan and his team definitely know what they are doing. I am an active athlete and had other injuries over the years and have visited other PT offices. If I ever have another injury and need PT (god forbid) I will only work with Dan and his team.

  I have been going to City PT on and off for a year for lower back pain. Most of that time I was pregnant. I saw Shayna primarily, and also Dan, and I have to say, they were wonderful! Shayna honestly helped me get through a really difficult pregnancy, with really intense lower back and hip / pelvis pain. She was very gentle with me, but gave really affective therapeutic massages and exercises, that she altered as my pregnancy progressed. Because of them, I was more fit, and able to handle the physical challenges of my pregnancy. And the icing on the cake... all the work they did with me, the massage, and exercises in particular cured me of the tension headaches I'd been getting 2-4 days a week for the last 15 years! I wasn't even going in for that issue (because Id tried and failed resolving it with other PT's around NYC.) Shayna, along with Dan and their amazing team are single handedly responsible for helping me resolve some really serious physical challenges that affected my lifestyle. I am beyond grateful to them.

  City PT is AMAZING. I've tried several physical therapists for scoliosis related back pain and have always been disappointed, but the therapists at City PT make you want to go to therapy. They are the best. Best of all, they teach you how to take care of yourself with realistic exercises that you can do every morning so that you can stay healthy. I will only go to them for PT.
