  Right next to a port, but they won’t allow you to bring bags into the theater. We wasted $13 taking a taxi to get here just to be turned down by 2 teens that wouldn’t even make an attempt to accommodate. Simply stating “company policy”. As a manager of an establishment that deals with the public, I understand why they would have certain policies, but due to their location, they should have a way of accommodating those traveling. 1 star only because 0 stars isn’t an option.

  I'm traveling from Tucson Arizona by train and I'm in Long Beach. Killing time before my friend gets off work I decided to go to a movie so I'm at the Cinemark Theaters. , I've been denied access to the movie theater because they have a bag policy no more than a 12 x 12 in bag is allowed. I can understand the policy and why but exception should always be made to the rule. I volunteered to take all the stuff out of my bags so they could see what was in them. The young man just didn't want to deal with it so again. They're concerned about Public Safety. What is going on in our world paranoia runs deep. Where are we going to be at 10 years from now.

  One of my favorite places in Long Beach. I just love these theaters they're big, the sound is excellent, picture is nice and huge. The customer service is great. And if you haven't been in this area at night, you're missing out! The Pike is definitely one of best highlights of LB. So, take in a show , then stroll around and people watch, or eat, have some coffee, go to the Aquarium, go to a bar, haha. There's no shortage of things to do for all ages . Cinemark also has Discount Tuesday, well worth it. Have fun!! --Laura, long time resident.

  Amazingly comfy seats top notch sound and the costumer service was above and beyond. We were late by 15 mins (LA Traffic) for our movie and they immediately booked us seats for the next showing with no problem. I even had to run out of the theater mid movie to look for a bathroom and there was an associate who saw me and pointed me straight to it. I didn't even ask he just knew. I always thought that working at a theater must be a pretty cool job and everyone at the Cinemark Long beach definitely acts like it is. I love going places where the associates are genuinely happy to be at work and not just waiting to punch out. Thanks for the great movie going experience. :)

  Great place to see a movie, fantastic recliners, with good restaurants surrounding it. I would recommend using Fandango or another app to reserve your seats ahead of time, also to check the capacity of that particular screening. The early-morning screenings are cheaper and usually not as crowded. Though how they managed to keep the bathroom floors so sticky I'll never know.
