  Loved how the food cafeteria had a cafe and the food was pretty cheap under $5.00 after taxes and if you have Medicaid plans of including food, it is free of charge in Christus Health System cafe's

  Horrible medical care had infected lymph nodes in my arm pit. Dr. Said it was infected no reason as to how or how to treat it I was released using previous diagnosis of COPD and a upper respiratory infection. Was escorted out by security when I asked for the lymph nodes to be included in my discharge papers. I was not allowed to grab my rain poncho or my fountain drink I brought in. I was pushed thru the door then persued while walking on a public sidewalk for an entire block in the wrong direction and was told they are going to call pd. I told them that was fine. They said never mind your just looking for a place to stay the night. After they left I turned around and walked the whole block back as they had me go the wrong direction in the middle of a storm.

  Although my father has passed away they did everything they could to help him get well and even helped him pass on with dignity and grace!

  My mother was admitted to the ER after being in a car wreck. After going into the wrong entrance I was greeted with being told I need a mask and then sent to the ER desk which had two women working who were not wearing mask. They did not acknowledge me or say a word as they continued to work on some paper work. Finally they looked up and said my mother was in a hallway and I would have to wait outside (literally outside) once she was in a room I was able to see her. She was admitted at 11:30 and released at 5:30 after the new shift of doctors came in with her discharge instructions. They said they needed to see her walk and would give her some pain meds. I went outside figuring it would be another 30 minutes or so as the pain meds needed to be given and kicked in and then observed. Less than 10 minutes later I see my mom slowly walking on her own out of the ER. All sensors and wiring still connected to her and unaided or observed as she was just handed her paperwork and instructed where the door was. The ER is just a building, it is the staff that is what is supposed to make the difference and the staff is the most unprofessional I have ever seen.

  Fantastic care! From valet parking, to the incredibly mood-lifting exchange with the gentleman who checked me out: Everyone I dealt with was kind, professional and extremely efficient. Even with a full waiting room on a Friday night, I was seen, treated and released within an hour. Exceptional staff! I was extremely impressed. I feel like this was the smoothest, most 'pleasant' ER visit I've experienced, if that can be a thing. So thankful for my care. ❤ Bless ya'll!!!
