  Warning for other AMAB gender-queer or trans folks: I went in here and asked the elderly proprietor about a fantastic green dress that was out of reach and if I could try it on. He told me that he didn't want "men" trying on women's clothes. I said it was for a Halloween costume to try to appeal to his normative sensibilities (though now I feel gross for employing that tactic) but he still wasn't having it. I then left immediately.

  I like this store because of the service and because this is the only store i can go to that has the jeggings i love. They are usually on sale, 2 for 20$, they come in a RAINBOW of cool colors anddd they fit me like a true dream; 3000x times better than 50$ ones at stores like American Eagle. The man that owns it has always only been nice and sweet to me. He smiles and is a tad bit friendly. But he does follow u around the store a tiny bit. Even tho i am African American, i never jus jumped to that conclusion. Its jus his shop has been robbed numerous times and is high foot traffic for adolescents in a central downtown area. Its common sense to me.. But anyways, hes employees are awesome as well. Friendly and love to crack jokes. Heading there today cause my jeggings got ruined due to lipstick in the dryer :(

  The owner is a jerk. He acts like everyone just wants to steal from him. He accused me of stealing from him. Like I told him I don't steal, never have and never will. I will never recommend this store to anyone. Furthermore I avoid this store at all costs. I would much rather spend my money a cross the street at that store at least I get treated like a person.

  I experience racial discrimination at this store today, When I first got in the store with my two Hispanic friends I asked him a question he kinda blew me off and I paid it mind, but at the same time my friend was about to ask a question and he went right to her. Then I asked this man if he sold kids hats, FIVE times, the fifth time I asked him, he told me to wait a minute, when he could have said yes or no, that simple. I don't understand it because most if not all of him money comes from black peoples pockets because of the type of apparel he sales. I did not make a purchase and will not ever.
