  Initially, I wrote an excellent post for this restaurant. I recently moved in the area and now frequent the place. Unfortunately, my view and experiences lately have been extremely poor. I went on a date the other night excited to go with this Chocolat first timer. The worst experience. The food was sub-par, the waiter was high and kept mixing up orders he came to us about 8 times to confirm what we ordered. He kept complaining about other customers who would not tip or were unpleasant and was very close to our faces we were uncomfortable. The host told us that certain areas were closed and seated us somewhere that was inconvenient . Moments later many others were seated in the very areas we requested. We were also ignored for the majority of the time we were there. Its too expensive to deal with poor service and sub-par food. Its a neighborhood staple and should do much better!

  The bartender was amazing on the night. I always love coming to this place. Never disappoints. Great service with really great workers. Had the fried shrimp and tho it was small, but it was divine!!! Keep doing what you doing!!

  Great food! Great music! Classy place! The only thing is the food take long to come but its well worth the wait.

  Attended Chocolat for mother’s day brunch. It was phenomenal my family and I were seated quickly and had an amazing servers that kept the unlimited mimosas coming. Food was off the charts and the staff as a whole were very pleasant and professional. Definitely will be returning to try out dinner next time.

  If you're looking for amazing food, expertly crafted cocktails and an excellent dining experience, THIS is it. The music is always great and the owner is a gem. Only issue is the wait for a table with no res, and that's a GREAT problem to have. Would love a few more vegan options, but there's something for everyone!
