Employee isn't very nice and the bathroom is out of order.

The employee was very rude when I asked about the bathroom. Apparently it's out of order and refused to tell me where they go. He also refused to tell me if a manager was currently working or not and refused to give me his name. All I wanted to do was pee, I drive for a living and really had to go when I stopped here. All I can say about him is he is an Indian guy with a thick accent and English was not his first language.

Convenient right off the highway in downtown Austin. 20-30 cents more expensive than any other gas station I frequent between downtown and Round Rock. Really only good for short emergency fill ups.

Right off of the IH35 access road & surrounded by traffic, I typically will only stop here out of necessity, lack of options, or if my gas tank is super-low...Gas prices are noticeably higher at this downtown location, as well the prices on everything they sell (The "cost of convenience"...). Overall, if you really need a quick place to stop for gas, grab a snack, then get back on the road, this Chevron is more or less acceptable (Don't ask to use their bathrooms though-Staff Only).

So I just have to say amazing things about the two men that happened to be working here the day all hell broke loose. I was a girl driving all alone from San antonio to Dallas. Right on the freeway my car started to give a grinding sound. I got off the freeway and happened to stop at this gas station to ask them if they knew a tire repair shop in the area. Only God could have directed me to them. I thought it was my tire. David Slack who happened to be at the counter sent Drew Marshall to take a look at my car. It happened to be a part sticking out right near the number plate. He went inside the store, brought out wire, cutter and fixed it. Great fix I must add. I drove to Dallas and back. A couple of days after that too. It goes to show humanity is still alive. It was Drew's first day and he got his hands all dirty for me.The world needs more beautiful people like David and Drew. Perfect gentlemen. I can't thank you enough. God bless you both:)
