  I love Ethiopian food! I’m certain this is my favorite place. The food and the atmosphere are the best I’ve experienced yet, and I’ve eaten Ethiopian/Eritrean at various spots in San Francisco, New York (nearly all of them), and Philadelphia. We were instantly charmed by the welcoming staff, alluring aromas and cozy atmosphere. The honey wine was great too- better than usual, not too syrupy sweet.

  Delicious food, a friendly wait staff, and generous portions! This is a great, low key Ethiopian restaurant with very reasonable prices. They also have a bar. I would highly recommend a visit.

  Very delicious food offered here. I enjoyed the best customer service and most of the food I took was just to the perfection I needed. I will definitely visit this location again for delicious ethiopian cuisine. I can recommend anyone to try out this location. 👍👍👍

  This was our last meal in the city and it couldn’t have been any better. The service was excellent and our waitress was very helpful. We had the deluxe platter, lamb wat and beef tibs. Plenty of food for four. Also sampled the traditional honey wine. Unique flavor! Closer to a liquor then a wine. I would get it again. Worth the walk from the mall and museums. Nice residential area of DC.

  While the food was definitely delicious the wait time and service was absolutely awful. We came on a Friday night for dinner and had the vegetarian deluxe meal with a side of the steak, it was so good. But we waited 45 minutes for food and it takes a long time to order. Several people not in our party complained while we were there.
