  Wish I could give 0 stars! This place is eat up with bed bugs roaches. Burn holes in the bed sheets. The owner is useless. He sits in office playing video games and don't want to help with anything. Workers in the office is useless as well. They sit and talk bad about everyone like they are better than other people. There is so many drugs being used and sold in this place. Please do NOT stay at this place you will be bit by bed bugs. The health department needs to be notified about this disgusting place. Please stay away from here.

  Stay away from this dump. I've lived in Lexington for over 20 years and this place has a reputation for being bug infested and a motel for drug addicts, drug sellers, robbery from vehicles, armed robbery, prostitution solicitation, "men" bringing prostitutes and even letting people stay for over a year. There has been murders, stabbings, shootings and over-doses at this place, also, there's several sex offenders that registered the Catalina Motel as their place of living. As for people rating 5 stars, those reviews are either from people with low expectations or from the staff.

  AC unit does not work in the room. Roaches everywhere. Shower has mold. Trash in the trash can. Smells BAD, towels are dirty. The pillow was cheetah print & dirty, cleary someone left it behind. Liquid running down the wall. Mattress pad stained badly. Holes in the bathroom door. Lamp shade severely dirty, smoke detector torn off the wall. $45 bucks... Get what you pay for I guess.

  As far as the room...sure it's a little dated but our room was very clean and the young gentleman at the desk was very polite and helpful. Asked for a downstairs room and due to wife's health and he even discounted it since it was a double. I haven't seen anything that looks like what some of the reviews were talking about. For the price...I will be staying for a few days while my wife has her surgery.
