  GR is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable, and the location is fantastic! Great neighbourhood and views from the room, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced place while temporarily in the city.

  Located in heart of NorthBeach(little Italy) San Francisco! Walking distance to all major tourist attractions. Perhaps the best SRO in San Francisco!

  Casa Melissa is a great place to live in as for a long so for a short term! First of all,the location is great:right in front of the Washington square. It is only 20 min walking from bart,however, the bus stop is also right there. Near to all restaurants,bars and clubs.And what is really important for me as a young woman, I always felt safe in this neighboirhood even at night. The place itself is very clean and bright. Cleaners come every morning and make the place shine. I never had to worry about furniture, refrigerator,wifi or even a toilet paper:these things were provided. Laundary is inside the building which saved me a lot of time and effort because I really hate carrying the laundary bag around the neighbourhood looking for a working laundromat used by thousands people.And here it was 3 times cheaper. Kitchens are on the floor and I think it is amazing,because most of the hotels dont have them at all,and you have to spend a lot of money on food outside. And last,but not least,the manager is very responsive,helpful and super easy going,which I really liked about this place! Just a hint for those who has a car:parking might be pretty difficult in this neighbourhood but you can either purchase an A permission or park unlimited for free all day long on the Bay street or North Point,just watch out for street cleaning.It is a little bit of walking but saves you stress and money.

  Stayed there for a few weeks. GR, the manager took care everything in a nice and timely manner. Would recommend!
