::Worst customer service imaginable. I reserved a car for my wife to drive but did it under my name - nowhere did it state that I would be the driver. Thrifty told me CT could switch the name or give me a full refund. The wretched soul we spoke with refused to do either. Even when the Thrifty rep told her they had just done it for another customer not even an hour ago! My wife and I are retiring so CarTrawler just lost a lifetime of business from two people who will be traveling a lot. We’ll never book through them again. Ever! Absolutely disgraceful customer service!

::I prepaid for my rental car through Thrifty with CarTrawler as a 3rd party. I went to pick up my rental on May 12th to be told that they could not rent to me because my license would expire on the 14th, 1 day before my rental was due back. The agent told me to make sure I get my refund. I email CarTrawler and explain what happened for them to tell me that I would not be getting a refund because it is my responsibility to have a valid license. But why keep my money? There was no inconvenience to the company and the car was still rented to another renter. CROOKS! Even the rental agent told me to never prepay. How are they still in business??????? At this point, I don't even want to use Thrifty in the future!

::I'm hesitant to even give one star. I booked a car here, needed to cancel the reservation, and was told that I would receive a full refund if I showed proof of another reservation. Two employees told me the same thing. I submitted proof of the reservation and was told my case would be seen by a manager, who would resolve it. Instead, I heard back from a third employee (conveniently using a no-reply email) saying that I would just have to pay the full amount for the reservation I was hoping to cancel. I rent cars frequently, but I will certainly never use CarTrawler or one of it's affiliated companies again.

::Rented a car through them and despite the car rental company stating they accepted our credit card, they refused the pick up because of it. Had paid 2/3 of the cost up front. Was told refund could not be given right away, but that a "case" would be started. We were supposed to hear within 2 business days. Surprise, it didn't happen. Still waiting. Save yourself the time, money and frustration ... go somewhere other than this company!!!
