  We went to play pool, it was nice and laid back. They also have darts. Seems to be a kind of place where people know each other by name.

  I work at carpentiers and having read some of the reviews that were left I am not sure why some of these social media sites allow someone to leave a review relating to someones specific actions or behavior that are not relating to their experience at the actual business in other words someone who uses the social media platform to be airing their laundry so to speak. This is why I decided to post a review as an employee to balance out the negative feedback received because of some personal beef that has nothing to do with the bar. Carpentier's Lounge has been in Anchorage since a year before the earthquake in 1964 and was rebuilt in 1965 it is definitely a neighborhood bar customers that come in are awesome we have the best room for darts in the whole city lots of room and lots of boards and you can go online and play if you're alone or you can play with someone here! The drinks are good and they're probably the least expensive lots of parking and on Sundays when I work daytime you can come in for food Robin the owner also Cooks quite often and the food is free and good home cooking come down and get to know some of the locals of Anchorage.
