  I used to bring my projects in to Carol and loved it. In fact, I'd even recommended family and friends to her. However, after my latest experience, I will NOT go back and wouldn't encourage anyone to do so. First off, her assistant did a project for me and got it about 30% correct (assistant didn't take notes, but relied on her memory with my requests, that was the first problem). When I expressed my displeasure with the work to Carol, she offered to re-do it. We patiently went through what I'd like corrected and she was happy to assist, offering to have it done within 10-14 days. After three weeks had passed, I made the initiative to call her, since I hadn't heard anything. She apologized and said it'd be done in a week. A week later, now the 4th week, she called and said she would NOT be doing my project, full of excuses ("sick", "too busy", "don't have the time", "I'm behind", etc...). TERRIBLE! They try, they fail and they give up, no concern for customer satisfaction. I hope your experience is better than mine...I know she used to do a great job....but you're better off finding someone else.

  I brought my favorite jeans here to be mended--the consult was thorough and friendly, and the turnaround was quick. Her work ended up being far superior to what I'd expected, and she ended up charging me on the low end of what I was quoted. Overall, a fantastic experience!
