::Dump,please don't have anything to do with this place. Medicaid fraud. I was paying them off to give me negative urinalysis. So ghetto they should all be locked up. The counselors were smoking crack in the bathrooms.The place is nasty.

::The place is terrible. First of all I was physically threatened by one of the staff members. Then mrs Charles the so called person in charge of this poor excuse of a outpatient rehab tried to flip it around and make it seem like it was my fault. All they are interested in is swiping your insurance card. If you are serious about your life and really want some help do not go to this place.;They have no reguard for your well being.The place is a total dump and very unprofessional, oasas should shut the place down I don't even know how such a place is even in operation. The worst part of the whole thing is that mrs Charles interviewed people who witnessed the whole thing and found out the whole truth, the same thing that I told her and this person who physically threatened me is still working there. That just goes to show how much they really care about there clients well being. So if your serious about your life find somewear else to go. I just read the review under mine and it is a joke. It must have been written by some one that works there. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Rivkah Kaufman that wrote it, the person they mention in there review. First of all nobody that goes there speaks the way that it was written there is nothing but hood rats that go there. so I don't know who you think your fooling the place is a real dump trust me I went there for 6 months and got absolutely nothing out of it actually it made me worse so please do ur homework before even thinking about going there. The place was already under investigation by oasas and was sued by a former employee I don't know how it still is in existence. oh yea and I also found out that the person that threatened me did 20 yrs in prison for murder and after I left continued to threaten more people and still nothing was done about it

::I give Canarsie A.W.A.R.E. Inc 10's across the board!!! Therapist Rivkah Kaufman (: aka the Oracle:) LMHC saved my life!!! Shes skilled, meticulous, insightful and willing to meet me where I was at and beyond. Ive grown & developed in her mental health care immensely and am overflowing with gratitude. Im not the easiest client, yet im teachable and take my mental health recovery/treatment very seriously. Rivkah's therapeutic techniques are astonishing, she kneads the space in my sessions 'til she gets that i get the point shes made for my life to go emotionally easier. I cant thank god enough for leading me to Canarsie A.W.A.R.E. Inc. (put my diagnosis into google with my "zip code") The center is not about glitz n glamour, it about the quality of my mental health care that most interests me. I find the rest of the staff at Canarsie A.W.A.R.E. sensitive, present, caring and passionate to their clientele and non-threatening entirely. Again, Im not the easiest client to treat, yet Ive made great progress since January 2014 at Canarsie A.W.A.R.E. Inc... Showing up and doing the work...!!!!! It works 2x wk (:
