Wonderful, hidden little gem. There are cabins, kid's camps, a climbing area and many trails to explore, fields to play in, etc. Definitely worth a visit!! And join EarthCorp events to help the forest!! They're fun.

Generations of owls there. Surrounded by 5 last visit. They'll dodge dogs so please be cautious and do not allow your dog to observe. Truly a beautiful place. Have been a few times when a hilarious musical group was performing at the firepit. I believe it was Buck & Elizabeth. Really fun couple and very funny. The adults loved them. Anyway, it's a wonderful place to stroll

Incompetant and unsafe staff caused me to land in urgent care with stitches in my face. The park director [later] told me herself that this was "not the first time" they had a safety issue resulting in an accident. Amazing! The facilitators responsible for the injury never even apologized. The details: I took a ropes course here. There were about 10 students and four facilitators. Yet, I still ended up in urgent care getting my face stitched up because their facilitators did not follow safety rules (which they did not tell me about but they were supposed to be following). Apparently -I was told after the accident- the facilitator should have told me not to wear my glasses during a particular activity. I was a supporter of someone else in the activity, but that someone else screwed up and it resulted in a scar in the middle of my face. If one of the numerous facilitators had told me to remove my glasses it would not have led to the injury. Incompetent and dangerous environment.

A mini-wilderness and very unused. Grandkids love climbing the rocks and exploring in the woods. Cabins for rent at a reasonable price. Attended an arts event in the park and really enjoyed the performances and music.
