  Our daughter has been going to this school for 2 years (preschool) and will be attending kindergarten there this next school year. I can't say enough good things about this school. The teachers and administration are dedicated to your child - they spend hours outside playing in nature, the class sizes are tiny and each child is treated like an individual. The pace is mellow and so works perfectly for our daughter who tends to be more shy and quiet then the average kid. However she loves the outside play area - climbing ropes, swings, chickens, sand box, puddles to jump in - what more could a little kid want? They learn some cooking and food prep, cooperation with their fellow preschoolers, felting, and other art. The school is preschool through 8th grade and they have wonderful school-wide festivals throughout the year. Great community of students, families, teachers and staff!

  Our family has been at Camellia Waldorf School for more than 7 years now. I feel my daughters have truly blossomed at this school. Camellia's educational method is wonderful, the academics are truly amazing, and so developmentally appropriate. They really give so much individual attention to each child. It is such a warm, nourishing, and enriching community. I feel it is the best education we can give our children to prepare them for today's world. Things like independent thinking, creativity, a love a learning, confidence, and general life skills. Plus, Camellia's academic program is much deeper than traditional learning. I've been blown away by what my daughter is learning now in 7th grade, she has a way deeper understanding of chemistry and history than I got in school (high school included!). The curriculum is truly amazing!

  I was looking for a school with a strong community, and a kindergarten classroom that would evokes feelings of warmth, simplicity and comfort. A place where my children would feel nurtured and happy. I have found that at Camellia Waldorf School. It is also the only school where I've seen kids running to their classrooms each mornings, and that says a lot about the quality of education!

  Im here all the time for pizza delivery. The teachers are amazing even the students are amazing. I love this school!

  Our family has been at this school for over 10 years. A Waldorf education is the best gift you can give your children and Camellia Waldorf provides that. When a child tells you that she would rather not miss a day at school to go to Disneyland, I was sold!
