  A good place for a quick, inexpensive bite. There is a menu but it seemed like the best strategy is to point at the various dishes, which are laid out behind a glass barrier. Once you've ordered, you can move out if the way, because they will ring you up once everything is ready. I got a chicken banh mi, which was tasty, and an iced Vietnamese coffee, which was super strong and exactly what I wanted. My boyfriend got vegetarian noodles, a little on the greasy side but yummy nonetheless.

  For over 10 years this place has been one of my favorite little spots in China town. Their bahn mi are simple and well made with fresh ingredients, and the staff are kind and quick. There's often a line at lunch time.

  Cheap and legit. $3-3.50 for good bahn mis. Go to lunch when taking classes at Laney.

  Shredded pork banh mi was good but nothing special. Happy with it for $3.50. Good place for cheap sandwiches and various pastries. They did not have spring rolls, which was disappointing. A sign inside said $10 min for credit cards.
