::By far one of my favorite locations in the Gaslamp. There are so many bars down here that a good quality wine tasting room is hard to find. Callaway winery in Downtown San Diego has definitely stepped up the game in this area. The location is ideal, located on 4th street between Market and Island Ave. The interior design is really nice, quaint and provides just the right amount of music volume. I was able to easily engage with my friends on a good talk and not have to worry about the disco type music all of the bars and nightclubs have day in and day out. The customer service is exceptional, I was provided a great experience by both Richard and Alex as well as the ladies that were there to serve us. Sorry that I can't remember everyone's name but everyone in this establishment provided an amazing environment and wine selections that are delicious! I even became a member after going through their tastings. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality wines and a relaxed environment in Downtown San Diego.
