Amazing happy hour deals. Drink and food for $5. Delicious spritzes too. They have lots of treats and coffees as well, depending on your mood. Great spot.

I’m not sure what the hype is. To me this place serves tasty food but at the end of the day it’s very plain and basic food. There’s nothing special that really takes it above any other casual cafe lunch place. A couple of salads and chicken sandwich. I didn’t particularly find their menu exciting or innovative. I think I was disappointed because everyone spoke so highly about how amazingly delicious it was. But I’ve had similar sandwiches and salads. At the end of the day it’s just a basic food place with nothing that special. I wouldn’t go out of the way or call it a ‘must see’ must eat place. I think people need to stop being sheep and call it what it is.

You know how during every presidential election voters on the losing side threaten to move to a place they feel is more progressive/regressive? CALL might save some of the headache, if only for a moment. Situated in the heart of RiNo, stepping into CALL feels like being plopped into the Scandinavian country of your choosing. The pleasant pared-down grayscale interior is complemented nicely by the huge patio, and the cozy blanket placed at every outdoor table on our visit was such a surprising detail that we hope more indoor restaurants follow suit. The common thread among our breakfast items was a hearty piece of toast that supported an array of tasty toppings such as banana parfait, an intriguing berry and feta spread, and wonderful smoked sable. The one exception to the bread theme was a remarkable almond torte, the perfectly flaky crust of which yielded to an airy interior. The espresso and coffee we sampled were equally impressive, and were on the par with the neighborhood's stiff competition. Service was equally Nordic in that it was proficient and blunt and consisted of largely yes-and-no answers, as such it remains unclear if they offer a dinner service currently, but we think they might. Minor qualms aside, CALL stands out as a unique setting that feels like a mini-oasis in an increasing bustling portion of Denver. While it might only be a temporary reprieve, in these turbulent times don't we all deserve a vacation?

Came with friends for happy hour and had a great time. Never been anywhere like Call. Happy hour specials were a good deal and the service was outstanding. Everything we tasted was delicious. I recommend the campari spritzer and any of their cookies. I look forward to returning.

Not your typical dining experience, but that’s what makes it so unique. You walk in to a beautiful spread of appetizers, an amazing open kitchen, and a friendly staff to greet you. Slowly made my way through every dish that was delivered to me since I didn’t want any one to come to an end. Denver has a true gem tucked away on Larimer. Just go—you won’t regret it.
