  I went into the shop on April 9th and ordered a cake and cupcakes for April 28th. Yesterday ( 4/10) found out grandma already ordered a cake . Called on the 11th (today) and manager tells me they don't do refunds they only do I store credit. I was not told this when I was ordering and the manager , Val tells me they assume customers know? I was telling her on the phone that's it's early enough that I can cancel my order and get my money back because I don't need a 2nd cake and cupcakes for my child's birthday and she says they can only do in store credit. What kind of business is this? I asked to talk to Karen about my frustrations and why they didn't tell me about their cancellation policy when they took my card and swiped it ,and the manager on the phone hung up on me. I'll be going into the store because this is not how to do business and I don't want in-store credit for another cake or anything they make! Horrible service.

  I got my wedding cake from here and I had a wonderful experience. I worked with Val who helped me get exactly what I wanted. I asked for a simple and elegant cake and that was exactly what I got. Val made great recommendations for the flavors. The cake was delicious and was delivered to my venue on time with no issues. I would recommend Cakes by Karen to anyone who needs a delicious and beautiful cake.

  I ordered a unicorn cake and cupcakes for a birthday party. We picked it all up yesterday and they we perfect and delicious!

  Have always ordered my cakes here. They are good, do an amazing job and deliver on time. They are a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Will be picking up another amazing cake today.

  I've had cake from this location before and it's amazing. I called today and the person that answered was a bit rude. I'll still use the location off of Colorado Blvd but not thisnlocation, it's just not worth the irritation.
