The drinks are good but the service has been getting progressively poor! On the last two occasions that my friend and I visited, the servers had no clue about their drip coffee - whether they were warm/ready to serve or where they were from! In fact, one of these times, they were completely out of both the options and did not even know until we asked. Not just that, even after my friend had to wait for 5 minutes to get a fresh batch ready, they did not have the common courtesy to offer him a free coffee!

This place does coffee right and is one of my favorites in town. They have multiple locations in downtown Seattle and two more up in Lynnwood. They roast their own beans locally in lower Queen Anne and use a medium roast for their espresso. For their drip coffee, they use both their light and medium roasts. I prefer soy with my lattes (not that I'm lactose intolerant but for flavor and texture), and it blends really well with their medium espresso roast. There's a good mix of the bitterness of the coffee and the nutty & sweetness of the soy milk. It's smooth, nutty, and leaves a good note in your taste buds. I could chug it down if I really wanted to (because it's that good), but I would rather sip it slowly to prolong the euphoria . The espresso shots doesn't get watered down by the steamed milk options of your choice, like Starbucks (which I'm not a very big fan of). Ladro does 2 shots for their 8/12/16oz espressos and don't go any higher than 16oz because it degradates the taste quality--their calculation is spot on, hehehe . This particular location has 3 tables that seats 4 with outlets for you laptop or for charging your cellphone, a window seat with 2 chairs, and 4 sofa chairs. They also provide free wifi! If you prefer your coffee/espresso sweet, go to Starbucks but if you want a freaking great tasting coffee/espresso, stop by any of Caffe Ladro's locations.

The mocha with almond milk was nearly flavorless. Not a good value at $6. I'll try anything twice so hopefully my next trip won't be my last. If you're visiting, play it safe and go to Fonte instead.

Literally not a single outlet anywhere so don’t try to do anything that requires charging your laptop. Took 15 minutes to get a small americano. No thanks.

The coffee is most excellent, and prepared very well. They have a few original drinks, but really only original in the name they use to call out as other places make the same drink under a different name. I appreciate the friendly baristas who really know how to make good coffee drinks from something relatively simple to more complex. The atmosphere inside is nice and welcoming, but can be a bit hipster and stuffy at times. They do have power outlets to charge your device.
