  This spot was so cute, and the menu went far beyond a typical cafe menu! Great drinks and snacks, and a really inviting atmosphere.

  Mediocre ice cream! It looked so yummy, but the salted caramel flavor was stale and nearly tasteless -- and it was full of ice crystals. I almost didn't mind that it was such a stingy scoop, but I did mind that we laid out $8 for those two disappointing servings.

  My friends and I have made a habit of frequenting Caffé Bene when in town for the annual Anime Boston. It is a chain with only a small presence in the states, but the food and drinks never disappoint. The staff seem very friendly and even dedicated to what they do. We see some of the same faces, even though our visits aren't regular. It is nice that the same service is offered everytime we visit, and the staff is always willing to make small talk or offer suggestions on new items we may like.

  Mediocre iced tea. The furniture is neat but they were blasting hip hop music over their loud speakers which made it really hard to concentrate on anything and killed the atmosphere. Since when does anyone want anything other than *quiet* classical music playing in the background at a coffee shop? Here's what really grinds my gears though, they selectively block productivity websites from working (that is if you can get the wifi to work). So basically, don't come here if you're in a tech field. None of your web-based tools will work.

  I was really excited to go to Cafe bene, because all my family has gone there numerous times. When I stepped inside, I was genuinely impressed. It's a nice atmosphere, with plenty of seating. There are endless charging spots so you don't have to worry about low battery :) I got a hot chocolate with whipped cream (of course), and it came in about 3 minutes. Very Nice. It was delicious; not to sweet nor bitter and has the perfect consistency. Pretty pricey, but worth it. If a bit less expensive, I would give 5 stars. Lastly, the most important thing (at least in my case) is the key location!!! It's a 1 minute walk from Symphony Hall. Since I got to perform there during a special event, my family could just wait there during my practices and easily pick me up. I loved this place, and will definitely go back. Go there!!!!
