  Everytime I look at my hair I want to cry that is how horrible they did my hair. I have never he anyone mess up my hair this much!. I asked for highlights . The back is white and the front is orange ! Worst coloring ever. They didn't even offer to fix it free of charge. I specifically told them at my job my hair can not be crazy colors. Dont go here for color even with a groupon.

  I didn't have an option of giving it no stars or I would have terrible experience !!! Melissa colored my hair she has the personality of a doorknob. I was told that possibly because she was rushing and a little behind on her time that's why she was the way that she was. Not my problem Melissa if you miss manage your time!! I did not get the name of one of the women at the front desk she was just as unpleasant . I was giving wrong information on the phone that there would be an additional charge for a glaze of $10 and then I get there and it's $25 then they tell me that they'll accept my Groupon but they can't anymore because I've been there before. I've never been there before and MELISSA says I was there 6 months ago and she did my hair. well obviously Melissa has a face recognition problem. She's NEVER done. My hair EVER TO me going and getting your hair done is a time to relax and pamper yourself my whole afternoon which my appointment was 2:30 and because I was 15 minutes late she proceeded to let me wait an hour.it was horrible save you money do not go there. Very aggravated and disappointed I'm more pissed off that I even bother to leave her a tip she did do a service but she DID NOT deserve a tip. I am just a decent person and did the right thing. MAYBE if she didn't get one and it hurts her pocket she might change your attitude. I believe A happy customer is the best word of mouth and an unhappy customer is your nightmare.

  Went to Taylor and it was first time I ever had a hairdresser actually listen to me and not cut too much. Blow out was great she was able to make my frizzy hair smooth and straight. Best blow out ever. Definitely going back!

  Melanie at Commack, was wonderful, friendly, kind and extremely helpful with her ideas. I had made my appointment for a blow out and makeup application for my nieces Sweet Sixteen, which was so important for me because of how special this occasion was. I had never been to Catus before, but as soon as I can I will be making a new appointment with Melanie. I am very very excited to become a regular at Catus in Commack.

  I do not recommend going here, save your time and money and go somewhere else. I went in to get my hair highlighted and the color was a brassy orange color, the hair dresser tried putting a toner in twice and still didn't Tone it down. I went back the next day to see a different hair dresser and she put a few more colored pieces in along with a toner. It still was more of an orange with my entire roots now a different color then my hair. I went to a different salon to fix my hair and they couldn't believe how the color was so patchy and uneven. I called cactus up asking for a refund of what I paid and they said they would only give me a store credit. i turned down there offer because Cactus is not a salon I will ever be going back to.
