  Hardware store with a great paint selection, or paint shop with an outstanding hardware selection. The store looks small from the outside, but it's big on the inside. You'll find anything justifying a Home Depot trip here except lumber and motorized equipment. Prices are good, service is great. Take some time to have a little conversation with the owner.

  I found items here I couldn't find ANYWHERE else, and the owner, Susan, was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. You just can't get specialized service like this at a big box store, and the location is ideal. A+

  Sue is great. Shop has most things you'll need and has been a life saver for me.

  Sue is super helpful -- knows her stuff and happy to answer questions. She doesn't push you to buy things you don't need.

  Accommodating is the best way to describe this local, hometown hardware store. One of the only ones left in the area and definitely the only one in Coldspring. Excellent paint selection too.
