  Best Chicken and Waffle in town. Always super busy and crowded on the weekends. Even if you have reservations expect to be waiting around. Drinks are pricey. But then again the best chicken and waffle spot. lol

  I drove from Farmer's Branch, TX to try Buttons because my cousin recommended the restaurant. He did not disappoint. The atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and down to earth. The Chef was there making sure everything ran smoothly. The live music was an additional treat to the already delicious food. We will make it a point to stop by Buttons anytime we are within an hours driving distance. It was worth it. His chicken and waffles meal is the best. The shrimp fish n jalapeño grits were great also. Hats off to the Chef and all the cooks and hosts. Great job!

  I had the worst experience here last night (4/3/18). First let me say, I have been here two times prior which were both fine. Nothing special, but good service and unique food. Me and my boyfriend came here last night, and it took about 5 minutes to be greeted despite an empty dining room. Someone finally emerges from the kitchen area, and tells us they don't have any servers for the dining room, so that we should sit at the bar. Okay - that's fine. We sit at the bar, and the bartender comes over. Her service wasn't bad, but definitely wasn't good. Our drinks were empty most of the time, and everything seemed slow. Across the bar from us was an older couple constantly making out and feeling on each other. In the dining room there was two women, and a man clearly intoxicated. The women were giving the guy lap dances, and making out with each other. It was not a pretty site. The were clearly wasted, and sloppy. They had multiple empty bottles on their table. Usually I'm not bothered by much, but this place appears to be more upscale, and this was just nasty to watch. Eventually the old couple at the bar joins in with them, and starts dancing together. So you have 5 people making out and dancing on each other. It was like watching a low budget porno. The bartender, and kitchen staff all watched in disgust, but never said anything.. It'd be different if I went to a strip club for the evening.. but I didn't. I went to what I thought was a semi upscale establishment. The thing that bothered me the most is that when one of the women left, she was falling over her feet, couldn't find her keys, and then struggled to get her door open. She definitely shouldn't have been driving. But this place clearly has no cut off limit for alcohol. That's scary given that weekends they get pretty busy.. how many intoxicated people leave their bar? Dangerous. Service was lacking, food was below average, and the atmosphere felt like an orgy.. I was truly disgusted at the scene we were eating in. The fact that I spent $50, and had to endure that is truly infuriating. Waste of money.

  What a great place! Went with the wife on a date. The food was outstanding from appetizer to dessert. The atmosphere was present and relaxing. The live jazz music was terrific and our waitress was very friendly and took good care of us. We can't wait to go back with our friends.

  Went to Buttons for Brunch and had a awesome experience. It was less than $20 we person and the omelet station was amazing. A live band was even setting up on our way out. Definitely will be back again!
