I can not be more pleased with my service from Buten Eyewear. Almost 1 year after i bought a pair of glasses from him, I broke the frames and he was able to replace them under warranty and replace the scratched lens under warranty as well. He had to track the frames down in Italy after the Japanese manufacture discontinued them. I travel to Cincinnati on business and to get my eye glasses, so the whole deal was done via UPS for just the cost of shipping. Wish they were local to me. Personal service and great products. I own two pairs from Mark, One pair of Persol RX sunglasses and one pair of Yoshi regular glasses. Love both of them. Update: 8/23/16 : Mark now fixed the Persols for me as well via UPS. They got bent and he managed to get them looking great again. and in time for me to go on a trip. I bought another pair at the same time and they all arrived the day before I left. Thanks.

Since my review was deleted from Yelp, I thought I would post it here. (From 3/28/2014) I walked into Buten earlier this morning with a pair of Hickey Freeman glasses that needed adjusting. I promptly greeted the man behind the desk (Mark Buten himself), and politely asked if he could perform some small adjustments. I was told that since I had not bought the glasses from Buten, there was nothing they could do. Why would a business turn away a customer willing to pay for a service that they could easily provide. It appeared that this was punishment for not having bought glasses from Buten in the first place. How rude. If you appreciate excellent customer service I would strongly suggest avoiding this place. It's beyond awful.
