  The food was great, but be careful if you have dietary restrictions. I ordered their vegan mac and cheese and received what definitely did not appear to be vegan. I asked the waiter and he assured me that the dish was, in fact, vegan. We got the receipt and it was the regular macaroni. So if you suspect something does not fit within your restrictions, you are probably correct despite what the waiters say.

  Our to-go place for brunch. We also LOVE their house coffee. The wait staff are very friendly. We usually order the sweet potato pancakes, eggs and turkey sausage. We’ve also frequented the place for dinner - really like their vegan options. Give it a try! There’s something on the menu for everyone.

  I have been to this Busboys and Poets a few times and I really do not have many complaints. If you plan on going for brunch on the weekends plan to get there early because the wait times are usually crazy, well all the times I have went. One thing that I really like it is how when you check in they get your number and send you a text with a link that shows your position in line and how many parties are ahead of you, pretty cool. As for the food it was good as usual, and the servers were very nice.

  This was my first experience at Busboys and Poets. When we walked in the door, I felt welcomed, at home, and I knew that I would love whatever I ordered off the menu. Well, l loved it. Checkout the menu. I am vegetarian, and this place has loads of vegan and vegetarian options!! My guest and I decided to split an order of sweet potato pancakes. Little did I know, she’s not a fan of pancakes but she orders the sweet potato pancakes almost every time she comes! I wish I got a full order! They were fabulous! There were so many options on the menu that I want to try. I will definitely be back. Service was exceptional from the time we were greeted at the door until the time we left the restaurant. Loved it!

  Definitely not like the dc branch. Which I love. The food was cold and the courses came out of order. Drinks were weak. The mojito had bruised mint sprig ( yes the whole thing branches and all) in it. When we asked the waitress what were the collards cooked in she had no clue. Stumbled saying a bunch of nothing before asking someone else... Who didn't know either. Food runners didn't know their plates. When asked what was the food he was give out he just laughed. Sent the item back due to temp but he also removed my fork. When my new plate came I asked for a replacement. He left to get them. I never saw him again. Had to take a roll up of another table. This will never be a location I'll be returning to.
