The cutest area with the best coffee around. It was within walking distance from my hotel.

Cute cozy cafe. V young staff. Cons: Unfortunately very slow service. Staff is seems always a step behind. Interested in conversation over promptness. Tiny seating capacity. Inflation is doing a number on menu prices. Question: New ownership? Who owns this cafe?? I think it was sold recently.

This cafe is my favorite place. Even so, I can attest that the chai is consistently delicious! Also a huge fan of the pear almond scones and seasonal soups. Woman-owned by a tremendously lovely and intelligent young lady, every detail is looked into. Employees are fabulous people, good at their jobs and there’s strong teamwork happening. Beautiful, magical little gem of a spot.

There must’ve been some miscommunication because my “extra hot“ latte came out as “extra tepid,” but after waiting almost 15 minutes for it, I just threw in the towel and left. As an aside, the menu board shows $.75 for alt milks; however, when you get your receipt, it will show a dollar. You can tell they are understaffed and the workers are as friendly as they can be given the circumstances. I think I’ll stick with Tatte around the corner.

The Daniel’s turkey sandwich, cappuccino, and the double chocolate cookie were all very delicious but I wish the sandwiches were a bit larger. The cafe vibe is really great. However, I wish they still could hold on to having “kookoo sabzi” plate in their menu as me and a bunch of my friends really loved it. The seating space was comfortable. Besides the lovely indoor dining space, this cafe offers outdoor sitting too. It is next to Brookline Village D MBTA stop so very convenient location.
